About The Dawson Group

Clark, Hazel, Charlotte, Whitworth, Ashley, Emily (niece) & Anniston Beecher

If you’re familiar with Seaside, FL then you’re familiar with Pickle’s, Shrimp Shack, Wild Bill’s, Dawson’s Yogurt and It’s Heavenly.

After 32 years in business, Seaside, FL residents Bill and Heavenly Dawson sold their beloved restaurants in December 2020 to Ashley and Clark Beecher from Houston, Texas.

When the pandemic of 2020 broke out, the Beechers moved their 4 kids— Charlotte, Anniston, Hazel & Whitworth— and a handful of dogs to their home in Seaside, FL with the intention to stay for a few days. A few days turned into a few months, and their home turned into a school, with biking down to the beach for recess.

With the pandemic leaving many local businesses at risk of closing down, the Beechers knew they wanted to help support the community they had grown to love over the years. When the opportunity to purchase The Dawson Group came up, they knew it was the right choice for their family and the local area.
